No sales booths, signings, readings, workshops, etc. — yet.
I’ll be attending these events as we approach the second half of 2014 (good grief! already?). If you’re a burglar reading this, don’t bother – as you can see, we sink all our money into events like these:
UPublishU at BookExpo America, Jacob Javits Center, New York, NY. March 31, 2014. Writers these days have to be comfortable with so many digital activities, including self-publishing.
The 2014 Writers Police Academy, Jamestown, NC. September 7 -9, 2014 Yes, I’m going back. It’s that good. Retired and active officers and detectives from state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Cherry Adair’s “Everything and the Kitchen Sink” Master Class Connecticut Romance Writers Association, Meriden, CT. Sept. 13 – 14.
New England Crime Bake, Sisters in Crime New England and Mystery Writers of America New England chapter. Dedham, MA. November 7 – 9. A mystery writer’s and fan’s convention/conference. Master classes, networking, pitches, panels and Guest of Honor Craig Johnson, author of the Longmire mystery novels.
Equine Affaire, November The Eastern States Exposition Center, West Springfield, MA. November 13 – 16, although I may miss the crowds on Saturday and Sunday. The big northeaster equine trade expo. Clinics, lectures, sales, even equine bookseller booths. Also, noses to pet.
